Description This is Brutus from MOTD in Bo2! He also locks perks and the box.
Instructions
  1. Drag the folders into your root directory. Example: A:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops III
  2. Open useraliases.csv in share>raw>sound>aliases and add the following lines:

  3. Open your mapname.gsc located in usermaps>zm_yourmapname>scripts>zm and add:
    Underneath:
    function main
    {

    Also add this to your mapname.gsc:
    Underneath:
    #using scripts\zm\zm_usermap;
  4. Open your maps zone file located in usermaps\zm_yourmapname\zone_source and add these lines:
  5. Add the prefabs to your map in map_source\_prefabs\_NSZ\Brutus:

    • perk_lock.map: place these in the correct location of the perks. Place it so that the center of the red box is at the center of the perk box
    • brutus_your_zone.map: place these in spawn locations of Brutus. You need to stamp the prefab and edit the script_string to be the flag of your zone or it will not activate!!!!
    • brutus_spawner.map: place one of these anywhere in your map.
    • brutus_start_zone.map: place this in the start_zone of your map.
    • box_lock.map: place this at each box location on your map with the green box infront of but not touching the box with the red boxes inside the box and halfway in the ground
  6. Edit all zombie traversals in your map to ignore Brutus so he doesnt get stuck!
    Stamp your traversal and edit the starting node to have the box checked:

  7. Edit the top of scripts\_NSZ\nsz_brutus.gsc to your liking. Here are the following options you can change at the top of the script for your reference:
  8. Compile and you are done!

Q: Brutus locks onto a perk machine or the box and starts to play idle anims.
A: Move it so that the green box is further in front of the machines or box.
Q: Does the red box go into the box or machines when placing the prefab.
A: Yes the red box should be in the box or machine and the green should not be: Example, Example
Q: How do I get Brutus to ignore traversals?

Q: Can I spawn Brutus in a mod?
